What does IASME stand for?

IASME Consortium

IASME is a not-for-profit organisation and I.A.S.M.E stands for “Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium“.

IASME focus on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and if you’re an SME, IASME provides the best value for money to meet the government’s cyber security standards.

IASME assess and certify organisations against two standards:

We are delighted to have been approved as a Certification Body (CB) for the IASME Consortium.

Being a licensed certification body allows us to deliver Cyber Essentials assessments on behalf of the IASME Consortium, who are responsible for running the Cyber Essentials programme for the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a UK government body linked to GCHQ. We are also authorised to deliver IASME Governance, an affordable and achievable alternative to ISO27001 for smaller businesses, or useful addition to those who already hold the ISO27001 certification.
